  • Success Recipe for Democrats- You are the key ingredient!

Great things are happening in Tennessee!

Democrats are leading on the issues Tennesseans care about most:

    • More jobs with better wages.
    • Protecting our public schools so all kids have a great education with well trained teachers.
    • Holding the current GOP mob running the state accountable for refusing our Medicaid expansion dollars. This corrupt decision denies vital healthcare to over 400,000 deserving Tennesseans and daily throws away 2.5 million dollars that should be coming into our state to keep hospitals open and energize our state economy!

Working together with Democrats all over the state, the Tennessee Democratic County Chairs Association is pulling our weight in the effort to bring opportunity, fairness, and plain old hard work back to our state government. hands_all_in.jpg

  • Democratic County Parties Welcome President Obama

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    Saturday, January 25, 2014

Democratic County Parties Welcome President Obama to Tennessee

TDCCA Chairperson Tony Webb released the following statement on news that the President will be visiting Tennessee on Thursday to discuss expanding economic opportunity.

“Tennesseans from one end of the state to the other work hard and need an economy that works hard for them. We are proud to welcome President Obama to address what Tennessee can do to provide opportunities to all our citizens and strengthen the middle class.

Under the President’s leadership, our economy has recovered from the Bush recession, but too many Tennesseans are still working two or three jobs just to make ends meet. Tennesseans want good paying jobs to provide for their families and provide opportunities to their children.

Tennessee needs an economy built from the middle out, not the top down. We all want the opportunity to live the American dream, and we look forward to hearing the President’s goals and vision to grow the economy in a way that rewards hard work.”
